DEADLINES FOR FIRST EVENT

• Round 1 - Australia (Adelaide)
  Qualifying: 16 October 1998; Race: 23 October 1998

• 10-Oct-98: Updated the instructions for submitting results - the file naming conventions have been changed.
• 10-Oct-98: 1998/99 datafile updated to version 1.2 - the 'position snapshot' keys option is now disabled and it is now possible to keep your own custom in-game colours. If you have any problems at all with the new datafile pack, please let me know asap.
• 08-Oct-98: Reminder - uncorrupted AGPLapTime logfiles are required for race results to count. If you have no experience so far using AGPLapTime, you have the time to learn before the first race in Adelaide. Check it out now, so that you can solve possible problems that you encounter with this tool in time. The mailing list is the appropriate place to ask such questions. Note that logfiles are only needed for race results, not for qualifying results.
• 08-Oct-98: The instructions for submitting results have been updated and changed for the 1998/99 season.
• 01-Oct-98: The 1998/99 season registration form is now up and running. Now is the time to register your team for the new season. If you have any problems with the form, please let me know.
• 01-Oct-98: The official 1998/99 IAF1GPC F1GP-Ed datafile pack is now available. You must use this datafile when participating in the 1998/99 championship events. One of the major changes is that the computer cars have been speeded up for this season.
• 21-Sep-98: The new rules for the 1998/99 season are now available. Even veteran drivers should read them from the beginning to the end as they have been reorganized completely - hopefully to make them clearer. Apart from the extra points and trophies, the most relevant change compared to last season is that AGPLapTime logfiles are now required for a result to count. That means, if no logfile is submitted with the result, the result will not be considered.
• 24-Aug-98: Provisional schedule for the 1998/99 has been released. More news on the new season to follow in a few days or so.
